Ausführliche Beschreibung

Der TraderFox High-Quality Alpha Selection (ehemals TraderFox Champions-Index) hebt die Idee hinter den High-Quality-Stocks auf ein neues Level: Mit nur 12 Bestandteilen ist der Index deutlich konzentrierter. Durch ein Bewertungskriterium wird außerdem sichergestellt, dass hoch bewertete Unternehmen nicht in den Index aufgenommen werden. Der Index bildet somit die Kursentwicklung einer konzentrierten Auswahl moderat bewerteter Burggrabenunternehmen ab.

Zum Thema Diversifikation findet Warren Buffett klare Worte: “Diversifikation ist eine Vorsichtsmaßnahme gegen Ignoranz. Sie ist nicht nötig für die, die wissen, was sie tun.” Während der Star-Investor damit dem unwissenden Otto-Normalverbraucher den Kauf von breit gestreuten Index-Fonds nahelegt, sollte der intelligente Investor sein Portfolio auf wenige Unternehmen konzentrieren, von denen er voll und ganz überzeugt ist: „Wenn Sie von starken Geschäftsaussichten absolut überzeugt sind, ergänzen Sie lieber eine bereits vorhandene Position, als Ihrem Portfolio die fünfzehnte oder zwanzigste Aktie hinzuzufügen.“

Von dieser Ansicht inspiriert, verfolgen wir mit dem TraderFox High-Quality Alpha Selection (ehemals TraderFox Champions-Index) den Ansatz, eine hochkonzentrierte Auswahl an Burggrabenunternehmen zu identifizieren und in den Index aufzunehmen. Die Auswahlkriterien entsprechen generell denen des TraderFox High-Quality-Stocks USA-Index, bei dem Qualität und Stabilität im Vordergrund stehen. Zu den wichtigsten Auswahlkriterien gehören daher eine hohe und stabile Gewinnspanne, hohe Kapitalrenditen, stabile Wachstumsraten und ein geringer Verschuldungsgrad.

Im Gegensatz zum High-Quality-Stocks USA-Index beinhaltet der Alpha-Selection-Index jedoch statt 20 lediglich 12 Unternehmen, die auf mindestens vier verschiedene Sektoren verteilt werden. Zusätzlich werden Qualitätsunternehmen nun nicht mehr „zu jedem Preis“ gekauft: Diejenigen 20 % der Unternehmen aus dem Auswahluniversum mit dem höchsten Kurs-Umsatz-Verhältnis kommen für eine Indexaufnahme nicht in Betracht und hoch bewertete Unternehmen somit ausgeschlossen.

Der TraderFox High-Quality Alpha Selection (ehemals TraderFox Champions-Index) stellt damit eine chancenorientierte, konzertierte Auswahl moderat bewerteter Qualitätsunternehmen dar. Die wichtigsten Auswahlkriterien lauten:
